Cornucopia workshops 19,20,21 June 2024

The project, "The scream room," is an innovative workshop designed to help individuals release pent-up emotions in a controlled and healthy way. Originally conceived as a well-isolated room for emotional release, the project has evolved into structured scream therapy workshops. These workshops combine vocal techniques, mindfulness practices, and physical awareness exercises to ensure a safe and effective emotional release experience.

How it works

Introduction and Overview: Participants are welcomed and introduced to the concept of scream therapy, its origins, and the workshop's objectives.

Full Body Check and Relaxation: Participants engage in a guided body scan meditation and learn relaxation techniques to become physically aware and reduce tension.

Vocal Health and Technique: The workshop covers the basics of vocal health, breathing techniques, and safe vocal practices. Practical exercises help participants prepare for scream therapy.

Scream Therapy Session: In a safe and supportive environment, participants engage in guided scream sessions, both individually and in groups, to release emotions.

Cool Down and Mindfulness: Gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and mindfulness meditation help participants cool down and process their emotions post-session.

Closing and Q&A: The workshop concludes with a recap, Q&A session, feedback collection, and discussion of next steps.

My intention with it

The primary intention behind "The scream room” is to provide a safe and structured way for individuals to release pent-up emotions. By integrating vocal techniques, physical awareness, and mindfulness practices, the workshop aims to:

Help participants feel a sense of emotional release and relief.
Enhance awareness of the importance of vocal health and body mindfulness.
Foster curiosity about vocal techniques and encourage a mindful approach to emotional well-being.
Empower individuals to utilize the power of their bodies and voices for healthy emotional expression.

Who could benefit from this?

Healthcare and Mental Health Professionals: Individuals working in high-stress environments who need a healthy outlet for emotional release.

Students and Educators: People in academic settings who experience stress and emotional buildup.

Corporate Employees: Professionals in demanding jobs seeking stress relief and emotional management techniques.

General Public: Anyone interested in exploring new methods for emotional release and mindfulness practices.

Support Groups: Members of support groups looking for innovative ways to manage and express their emotions healthily.

By addressing the needs of these diverse groups, "The scream room" aims to make a positive impact on the mental and emotional well-being of its participants.
